In this week’s Blue Half Podcast Rodger is joined by 4 (four) Evertonians from around the world:-
- Karl Rowlands from Sydney, Australia
- Alex Johnson, Co-Host of American Toffee Podcast, from Virginia
- Ian Lowe of Toronto Toffees
- Tony Sampson, from Chicago, newly elected to the Fans Forum
They discuss life as an overseas BlueNose, how and when they watch games, how “connected” they feel to the Club and their hopes for the rest of this season and next.
It’s a bumper episode with a fair chunk of “added time” sponsored as usual by Gavin Buckland 😉

A comparison about connection to the club, our overseas fans in some ways have as much connection to the club as local fans, as i feel I’m priced out of attending, i go the pub when we are televised, I’m employed as a delivery driver and my route is L4 i drive past the Winslow twice a day 5 days a week and yet apart from a few pre season games over the years, i haven’t attended in regularly since the late 1980s, best way i have heard being an Evertonian described is …being a blue is like drowning but you never die !
