Scary and challenging times for everyone, here’s hoping this will at least provide a brief, albeit temporary, distraction.
This week Rodger is in conversation with Dr David France about the magnificent Everton Collection – “the world’s greatest club collection of football memorabilia” according to Christie’s. The Collection is owned by The Everton Collection Charitable Trust and is housed at Liverpool Record Office in Liverpool Central Library, with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Read the Everton Club Minute Books from 1887 to 1964; explore the Match Archives , including 10,000 match programmes, even search for your favourite player’s memorabilia. You can search over 18,000 items in the Collection with 000s of images freely available to view.
Can the history that we value so highly inspire a brighter future for the Blues? David addresses that and gives his views on how the Collection could be used as a “celebration” at Bramley Moore Dock.
